Over the last 10+ years Fiona has undertaken numerous visits to Lay, Professional and Public Authority Deputies and their clients. She has completed hundreds of mental capacity assessments and Stayed DoLS cases on behalf of the Office of the Public Guardian and the Court of Protection. Fiona has excellent inter-personal skills and uses a variety of techniques to support clients in the decision-making process.

Fiona has managed social care budgets for a variety of disabled people in her local area as a qualified book keeper since 2007. She also served on the Welsh Government’s Citizen Panel for the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014, appointed by the Deputy Minister for Wales in January 2014.
